Start Date: January 2012 (contact admissions office for dates)
Evening program: 5:00-10:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Program Length: 6 weeks, 129 hours: 84 in class, 45 in clinical setting
Program cost: $1,100 (includes $60 CNA exam fee, $28 background check fee, $150 books and supplies)
ORT Technical Institute students or graduates from any program of study including ESL get a $300 discount and pay $800.
In this program students receive patient care training and will have an opportunity to put it into practice at an actual patient care facility. Completion of the program prepares the students to sit for the Written Competency Exam for the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and enhances their opportunities for work and continuing education in the healthcare field. ORT Technical Institute provides employment preparation assistance upon completion of the program and passing of the CNA exam.
